- Zinc selenide (ZnSe) lens has low absorption coefficient and high thermal expansion coefficient. It is usually used as the base material of reflector and beam splitter in high-power CO2 laser system.
- As the zinc selenide (ZnSe) lens is relatively soft (Knoop hardness is 120) and easy to scratch, it is not recommended to be used in harsh environment. Pay attention to uniform force when holding and cleaning, so that you could wear finger covers or hands.
