Fused quartz plano concave lens
PRODUCT CATEGORIES
- One side of the plano concave lens is a plane and has a negative focal length. It is usually used for beam collimation, increasing (reducing) focal length or expanding (reducing) image. In order to obtain smaller spherical aberration, when the incident beam is a collimated beam, the collimated beam should be incident on the concave surface of the plano concave lens.
- With negative focal length, flat concave lens is often used in imaging or beam collimation. Coated lens is also widely used in visible light and near-infrared applications.
- Quartz lens has good transmittance from ultraviolet to near infrared (190-2200nm). Quartz material is a common optical glass for preparing optical elements.
- Quartz lens is very suitable for many limited imaging applications. Fused quartz has good uniformity and lower coefficient of thermal expansion
