Dowell prism has a very unique performance – if you observe through the prism and rotate around the longitudinal axis, the resulting image rotation angle will be twice as large as your rotation angle. Good performance can be achieved using a Dow prism with parallel light.
The upper surface of the Dowell prism is a frosted surface, while the long length (indicated by dimension B) has an unopened chamfer dimension.
Dawei prisms are non coated, antireflective coated diagonal surfaces, or aluminum plated diagonal surfaces. The aluminum coated version of the Dow prism uses a protective aluminum film and black paint on the diagonal surfaces, making it ideal for transferring reflections. U-bend incident laser beam is available.
