Glass lens includes optical glass lens and high refractive index lens (commonly known as ultra-thin film). It has high hardness and good wear resistance. Generally, its quality and parameters will not change with time, but the impact resistance and weight of glass lens are slightly inferior to resin lens.
Resin lens is generally much lighter than glass lens, and its impact resistance is better than glass. It has strong anti ultraviolet ability, but its surface hardness is low and it is easy to be scratched. Due to the soft characteristics of resin lens and coated lens, attention should be paid not to let the mirror directly contact hard objects. When scrubbing, it is best to clean it with clean water (or mixed with a small amount of detergent), and then use special test cloth or high-quality cotton paper to dry the water droplets on the glasses. In addition, in places with poor environmental conditions, coated lenses should be used with caution to avoid dirt and difficult to clean.
Cosmic (PC) lens: high refractive index, firm, but easy to wear Most of them are used for children’s glasses, frameless assembly or athlete’s eye protection.
